Training programme

After confirming with our Operations Department, I am sending you an individual training program, which we can offer you:

Practical training with elements of theory (duration: 3h) on survival techniques at sea (Sea Survival):

• Discussion of the individual (life belt) and team equipment (lifeboat, life raft and escape chute)
• Individual techniques (jumping into the water, "help" position, moving through the water)
• Team techniques ("hatch", "star" position)
• Raft entry
• Pick-up by helicopter loop
• Towing an unconscious person
• Discussion of raft equipment
• Methods of summoning help at sea
• Guided tour of the center

To start the training, we offer a demonstration of an evacuation from a sinking helicopter performed by a VTC crew with discussion.

We confirm availability for Friday 19 April 2024

Due to the large number of participants, we can offer two groups of 15 people each. In addition, we need a forecast number of women - for reasons of infrastructure and available space in the women's changing room.
