This training is designed for individuals who wish to work as rope access technicians (industrial climbers) and for those who are already working in this field and wish to enhance their qualifications in professions such as general construction workers, welders, electricians, fitters, historic preservationists, painters, etc., who perform work at heights in hard-to-reach areas.
The course is divided into three levels of proficiency.
Level 1 is designed for individuals who wish to begin working as a Rope Access Technician. No prior experience or certification is required of participants. The training covers the following topics: types of rigging, knots, and ropes; safe use of equipment; rope maneuvers; structural climbing techniques; and basic first aid. The course is primarily hands-on, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency during work. The most common tasks in rope access include: non-destructive testing, electrical inspections, and painting.

At least one year after obtaining the Level 1 Certificate and completing 1,000 hours of rope access work, a trainee may advance their qualifications to the level of Rope Access Technician - Specialist during the Level 2 training. By participating in this training, the trainee will acquire and expand their knowledge in the following areas: the smooth execution of all Level 1 techniques, advanced rigging procedures, release from exit equipment, rescue during maneuvers (assistance with a figure-eight knot, tilting, rope transfer), transporting and lowering the casualty, proper selection of equipment, its inspection, care, and maintenance.
The Level 3 certificate authorizes the holder to work as a Rope Access Technician - Supervisor. To enroll in the course, you must have held a valid L2 certificate for over a year, have logged an additional 1,000 hours working on ropes as a Specialist, hold a first aid certificate, and provide recommendations. The training expands and systematizes knowledge by covering the following topics: current laws and regulations, equipment selection, care, maintenance, and inspection, operational planning and risk assessment, proficiency in Level 1 and Level 2 tasks, complex rope access techniques, advanced rescue techniques, and team and duty management.
