Who is the course aimed at?

The course is aimed at people who want to obtain authorizations to operate general-purpose overhead cranes, both for employees of manufacturing plants, warehouses and individuals who plan to work as an overhead crane operator.

Description of the training:

The purpose of the training is to prepare participants to operate general-purpose overhead cranes safely and efficiently, and to provide the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to pass the UDT exam, which entitles them to work independently as an overhead crane operator.

Course goal:

The training includes both theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, participants will learn about the construction and operation of overhead cranes, the principles of their safe operation, current legislation and the dangers associated with working in this position. The practical part focuses on learning how to operate overhead cranes, simulating typical operator tasks and emergency exercises. The entire course ends with a theoretical and practical exam conducted by a representative of the UDT.

The training program consists of:

1. basic knowledge of overhead cranes

2. safe operation of overhead cranes

3 Qualifications of operators and maintainers

4 Basic classification of overhead cranes

5. construction of overhead cranes

6 Basic technical parameters of cranes

7 Safety, control and signaling devices of overhead cranes.

8. lifting capacity of slings - allowable working load (DOR)

9. slings and auxiliary equipment

10. occupational health and safety

Qualifications obtained:

After completing the course and passing the exam, the participant obtains a qualification certificate issued by the Office of Technical Inspection, which entitles him to operate general-purpose overhead cranes in Poland.

Confirmation of course completion:

Each participant who completes the course and passes the UDT exam receives a personal certificate of qualification obtained and a certificate confirming participation in the training.
