Szkolenie GWO SEA SURVIVAL E-learning + Practical

Finish the theory at home and come to the Center only for the practical part - you will save half the time compared to the standard GWO BST.

Target Audience:

The course is dedicated to people who direct their professional careers towards wind energy, especially if they intend to participate in the construction, operation or service of wind turbines at sea. It is a very extensive and necessary training also for every person professionally connected with the sea.

Course objective:

The aim of the course is to raise awareness and skills of people working in the maritime industry. Prepares participants for safe transportation at sea, from shore to ship or wind turbine and back.

Sea Survival is Module 6 in accordance with the latest GWO Basic Safety Training standard.

Sea Survival Training includes theoretical and practical knowledge of the most important elements that every person should be aware of working in the offshore industry. These include, individual rescue techniques with particular emphasis on the types of rescue measures available, both collective - such as rafts or lifeboats, and individual - overalls or lifejackets. Delegates will learn, among other things: what hypothermia or secondary drowning is and how to deal with these conditions, how to deal with emergency situations on board a ship or installation, what types of alarms we have, and what to look for during training alarms to act properly during a real emergency. In a warm, closed pool they will have the opportunity to evacuate directly from the 7m platform into the water using an evacuation device and practically practice the transition from the boat to the ladder, thus simulating the transfer of C-TV to the wind turbine.

After booking the training place and before starting the training you must register in the WINDA profile After registration you will receive the individual WINDA ID. You need this ID to complete the training.

WINDA is a global database used by the Global Wind Organization (GWO). The WINDA will enable training verification for training providers and employers. Delegates will have personal access to training records at WINDA.

After completing the training, Vulcan Training & Consultancy will send a digital GWO certificate record in WINDA.
