Course description
To attend the BTTI Mechanical + Electrical module, participants must possess valid Training Records in the WINDA database confirming completion of the BTT Mechanical and BTT Bolt Tightening modules.
Valid identification document.
The GWO BTTI-M+E certificate is issued for an indefinite period.
Who is the Course Aimed At?
Personnel involved in or preparing for wind turbine installation activities who require basic mechanical and electrical installation knowledge and skills to safely perform installation tasks.
Training Description
The combined BTT Installation Mechanical and Electrical training provides participants with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities required to safely perform basic mechanical and electrical installation tasks in the wind industry. The training covers installation activities and associated hazards, checklist systems, installation environments, handling and storage of components, lifting equipment, component preparation, mechanical and electrical completion, cable handling and installation, basic hydraulic completion, external generators, and handover to commissioning.
Course Goal
To provide participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to safely carry out basic mechanical and electrical installation tasks in wind turbines under the supervision of an experienced technician, using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

GWO Basic Technical Training Installation Electrical (BTTI-E) Certificate
Confirmation of Course Completion
Upon successful completion of the combined training, the BTT Installation Mechanical (BTTI-M) and BTT Installation Electrical (BTTI-E) training completion information will be entered as separate training records in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.
