In order to attend the BTT Installation Mechanical module participants must first have a valid WINDA
Training Record in the BTT Mechanical and BTT Bolt Tightening modules.
Valid identification document
The GWO BTTI- M certificate is issued for an indefinite period.
Who is the Course Aimed At?
Personnel involved in or preparing for wind turbine installation activities who require basic mechanical installation knowledge and skills to perform tasks safely.
Training Description
The BTT Installation Mechanical Module provides participants with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform mechanical installation tasks in the wind industry safely. The training covers installation activities, associated hazards, handling and storage of components, lifting equipment, component preparation, mechanical completion, and basic hydraulic and electrical aspects relevant to mechanical installation.
Course Goal
To provide participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to safely carry out basic wind turbine installation tasks, including understanding installation activities and hazards, checklist systems, installation environments, handling and storage of components, lifting equipment, component preparation, mechanical completion, relevant electrical and hydraulic completion, and the basic principles of operating external generators.

Confirmation of Course Completion
The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.
