Requirements
After making a booking, and before attending the course, participants must register in the GWO WINDA database and create a personal profile. Upon registration, an individual WINDA ID will be assigned.
Participation in the BTT Installation Electrical module does not require completion of any prior training.

Who is the Course Aimed At?

Personnel involved in or preparing for wind turbine installation activities who require basic electrical installation knowledge and skills to safely perform installation tasks.

Training Description

The BTT Installation Electrical Module provides participants with the basic knowledge, skills and abilities required to safely perform basic electrical installation tasks. The training covers installation activities and associated hazards, checklist systems, installation environments, handling and storage of components, lifting equipment, component preparation, electrical completion including cable handling and installation, basic hydraulic completion, external generators, and handover to commissioning.

Course Goal

To provide participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to safely carry out basic electrical installation tasks in wind turbines, using safe working procedures and the correct PPE.

Confirmation of Course Completion

The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.

Please note that some companies may require additional or specialized certification to meet their internal competency standards. Vulcan Training strongly recommends checking specific competency or training requirements with the operator before booking a course. Occupational Medicine Office

Occupational medicine conducted by our Center includes the prevention of occupational diseases for seafarers, wind turbine technicians, and other professions or specializations. The examinations will determine if the delegates have any health contraindications that would prevent them from performing tasks in a specified position.
