- Completion of the medical questionnaire provided during the training.

The certificate is valid for 2 years. Before the expiration date, it is necessary to take the OERTM Further course to keep the credentials valid.
Who is the Course Aimed At?
This training is designed for individuals who are currently or will be appointed as Offshore Emergency Response Team Member.
Course Goal
The training is conducted at a land-based training center and includes both theoretical and practical scenarios that cannot be performed at sea. It represents the initial phase of a broader training program, which will include additional specific training related to oil and gas platforms and sea vessels.
Qualifications Obtained
- Recognizing emergency situations on offshore installations.
- Responding effectively to fire situations on oil and gas platforms and other offshore facilities.
- Using fire and rescue equipment safely.
- Providing first aid during emergencies.
- Evacuation of personnel from danger areas.
- Coordinating rescue operations with other team members.
- Communicating with operational headquarters and other emergency services.
- Conducting emergency training and simulations in accordance with current procedures.
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures specific to the offshore environment.
- Dealing with stress and maintaining operational effectiveness in emergency situations.
Confirmation of Course Completion
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate approved by the international organization OPITO, which authorizes them to work on offshore installations in the oil and gas industry.
