This course is designed for individuals currently working or planning to work in the offshore oil & gas industry.

Training Description

MIST training consists of five modules covering topics such as:

● The risk of serious accidents

● Work environment hazards and personal safety

● Risk assessment

● Control measures

● Helicopter travel safety

During the training, participants gain knowledge that enables them to operate safely and effectively in the complex work environment of the oil & gas industry. The training emphasizes identifying hazards, assessing risks, and applying appropriate control measures. This ensures that participants can maintain high safety standards both during travel to the workplace and in their daily tasks.

Qualifications Obtained

The course provides trainees with knowledge of major accident hazards, workplace hazards, and the associated control measures that may be encountered on offshore installations.
