Validity Extension
The GWO First Aid Certificate (including Refresher) is valid for 2 years. Before the expiration date, the refresher course must be taken to keep the credentials valid.

Who is the Course Aimed At?

This course is designed for individuals working in the onshore and offshore wind industry or related fields who need to refresh their qualifications.

Training Description

This course provides participants with basic first aid knowledge and skills. During the training, participants will learn how to secure a scene and intervene in critical situations, such as stopping massive hemorrhages, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using an AED and dressing injuries. Practical scenarios will prepare participants to provide first aid and address the specific challenges of wind turbines.

Course Goal

The goal of this course is to refresh participants' knowledge and skills to work safely and responsibly in various challenging environments. This includes the ability to identify and minimize risks, properly use personal protective equipment, and efficiently perform emergency procedures to protect themselves and others in their environment.

Qualifications Obtained

GWO First Aid Refresher (FAR) Certificate.

Confirmation of Course Completion

The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.

Please note that some companies may require additional or specialized certification to meet their internal competency standards.
