Requirements
- Valid GWO Advanced Rescue Training Hub (ART- H) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST Working at Heights (WAH) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST First Aid (FA) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST Manual Handling (MH) Certificate
- Body weight less than 135 kg
- Valid medical certificate

Validity Extension
The certificate is valid for 2 years. Before the expiration date of the certificate, the GWO ART-HR Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher course must be taken to keep the credentials valid.

Who is the Course Aimed At?

This course is designed for individuals who have previously completed GWO ART Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue (ART-H) or GWO Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher (ART-HR) training and need to refresh their certification.

Training Description

This course covers rescue operations conducted at the hub of the turbine (Hub), the hub guard (spinner) and inside the blades of the wind turbine. The course includes both theoretical and practical components to ensure participants are fully prepared to handle scenarios under simulated conditions.

Course Goal:

The goal of the course is to refresh participants’ knowledge and skills to perform rescue operations in the demanding environment of a wind turbine. This includes acquiring the skills to identify and minimise risks, properly use personal protective equipment and team equipment, and proficiently execute advanced procedures for conducting rescue operations using height techniques within a wind turbine.

Qualifications Obtained:

GWO Hub Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher (ART-HR) Certificate.

Confirmation of Course Completion

The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.
