Requirements
- Valid GWO BST Working at Height (WAH) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST First Aid (FA) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST Manual Handling (MH) Certificate.
- Body weight less than 135 kg
- Valid medical certificate

Validity Extension
The certificate is valid for 2 years. Before the expiration date of the certificate, the GWO ART-NR Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue Refresher course must be taken to to keep the credentials valid.

Who is the Course Aimed At?

This course is designed for individuals working in the wind industry who carry out rescue operations in wind turbine nacelles, towers and confined spaces.

Training Description

This course covers rescue operations conducted in the nacelle, tower, and restricted access areas of the wind turbine. It includes both theoretical and practical components to ensure that participants are fully prepared to handle scenarios in simulated conditions.

Course Goal

The goal of the course is to provide participants with knowledge and skills to perform rescue operations in the demanding environment of a wind turbine. This includes acquiring the skills to identify and minimise risks, properly use personal protective equipment and team equipment, and proficiently execute advanced procedures for conducting rescue operations using height techniques within a wind turbine.

GWO ART Nacelle, Tower, Basement Rescue (ART-N) Certificate

Confirmation of Course Completion

The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.
