- Valid GWO BST Working at Heights (WAH) Certificate
- Valid, GWO BST First Aid (FA) Certificate
- Valid GWO BST Manual Handling (MH) Certificate.
- Body weight less than 135 kg.
- Valid medical certificate
- Valid identification document
The certificate is valid for 2 years. Before the expiration date of the certificate, the ART-HR Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue Refresher course must be taken to keep the credentials valid.
Who is the Course Aimed At?
This course is designed for individuals working in the wind industry assigned to advanced rescue operations using working at height techniques.
Training Description:
The ART Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (HSIBR) training course covers rescue operations conducted at the hub of the turbine (Hub), the hub guard (spinner) and inside the blades of the wind turbine. The course includes both theoretical and practical components to ensure participants are fully prepared to handle scenarios under simulated conditions.
Course Goal:
The goal of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to work safely and responsibly in the challenging environment of the wind turbine. This includes the ability to identify and minimize risks, properly use personal protective equipment, and perform emergency procedures using advanced working at heights techniques in wind turbine conditions to protect themselves and their colleagues.

ART Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (ART-H) Certificate
Confirmation of Course Completion
The training completion information will be entered as a new record in the GWO WINDA database. This allows employers to easily verify the credentials of their employees, helping to maintain high safety standards in the industry. Participants can also easily prove their qualifications globally without needing to carry paper certificates.
