Who is the Course Aimed At?

This course is designed for ERRV Crew members who need to refresh their knowledge, understanding, and skills as Advanced Medical Aiders.

Course Goal:

The goal of this course is to refresh the competencies to effectively perform as an Advanced Medical Aider on Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRV).

Training Description:

The ERRV Crew Further Advanced Medical Aid Training course is a comprehensive program that covers the following mandatory modules:

- Further Roles and Responsibilities of the Advanced Medical Aider

- Further Principles and Priorities of ERRV Medical Aid

- Further Preparation for Reception of Casualties

- Further Triage and Treatment of Casualties

- Further Casualty Transfer (AMA)

The course combines theoretical learning with practical exercises to develop the skills necessary for advanced medical aid. This includes assessing and conducting medical training, preparation for casualty reception and transfer, triage, treatment of casualties, and communicating with both onboard and external medical units.

Qualifications Obtained:

Upon successful completion, learners will receive the OPITO-certified Further Advanced Medical Aid Certificate.

Course Completion Confirmation:

Delegates will receive a certificate of completion, valid for 2 years, confirming their updated qualifications as an Advanced Medical Aider. This certificate will be issued after successfully completing all theoretical and practical assessments, demonstrating the learner's competency in all required areas.
