Course description
- At least 18 years of age
- Possession of current L2 (revalidation training) or L1 (upgrade training) level certification
- send a scan of the technician's work logbook to verify documented hours of work (min 1000h and a minimum of 6 months of practice at level 1 for those wishing to upgrade from L1 to L2 level)
- good health and physical fitness
- proficiency in knowledge and techniques applicable to level 1 and 2
- weight max 135 kg

- IRATA training is valid for 3 years (as long as breaks in service are no longer than 6 months).
Dedicated course:
- IRATA Level 2 training is dedicated to:
- Experienced rope access workers.
- IRATA Level 1 technicians who want to develop their skills.
- IRATA Level 2 technicians who want to maintain the validity of their credentials
Purpose of the course:
- The purpose of the training course and exam is to ensure that an IRATA Level 2 (Level 2) certified person:
- has the knowledge and skills required of Level 1 and Level 2 (Level 1) technicians
- knows and can practically apply applicable laws and regulations
- has knowledge and skills of railing and rescue techniques in rope access
- knows and can practically apply IRATA principles in accordance with ICOP and TACS
Description:
- The training program includes theoretical and practical issues:
- legal regulations in force in PL and EU
- knowledge of equipment and ropes
- rigging
- rescue
- pulley systems
Obtained qualifications:
- After successfully passing the theoretical and practical exam, the trainee is awarded IRATA level 2 qualification.
Confirmation of course completion:
- Certificate issued by Vulcan Training & Consultancy
- IRATA Level 3 certificate issued by IRATA headquarters (UK)
