Dedicated Course:

All employees working in confined spaces or restricted areas, especially where access and entry-exit are limited or difficult (e.g., tanks, silos, ships, roof spaces, dams, tunnels, pipelines, etc.).

Description:

The course provides delegates with a thorough understanding of potential hazards, safe work controls in confined spaces, and threats that may arise in these environments due to work or interruptions.

• Participants will expand their knowledge on the following topics:
• Regulations regarding work in confined spaces 
• Exposure limits, types of gases that may occur, and precautions 
• Risks associated with entering and exiting confined spaces 
• Safe work systems to be implemented when working in confined spaces 
• Work permits for the confined space, certificates of gas test and hazard assessment of the confined space control measures and how to implement them 
• Communication methods that can be used when working in confined spaces 
• Proper use of different types of equipment used in confined spaces 
• Equipment that can be used for confined space rescue 
• Awareness of different types of respiratory protection equipment used for working in confined spaces. 
• Proper measures to take in the event of explosion hazards in confined spaces.

Course Completion Confirmation:

Assessment will be conducted through a practical and written test. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course. The validity is 2 years.
