The AED certificate is valid for 2 years. Before the expiry date, the certificate must be renewed in order to maintain the validity of the acquired credentials.

Course Goal
Improve skills and knowledge in rescue operations using the AED.
Training Description
The content covered in the AED training will include theoretical and practical activities leading to increased knowledge of:
- Legal and safety issues during rescue operatio,ns,
- Causes of unconsciousness and cardiac arrest
- Calling professional emergency services,
- Basic Life Support algorithm according to the European Resuscitation Council 2021 Guidelines,
- Safe operation of an AED and CPR practice with an AED on a mannequin
Qualifications Obtained
AED training focuses on teaching the trainee how to use an automated external defibrillator safely. An AED is a medical device that is used to perform defibrillation during sudden cardiac arrest.
