Course Objective:

Our IOSH Managing Safely training is designed for individuals in managerial positions and those aiming to elevate safety and hygiene standards in their organization. The course aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety and health management.

Description:

The course is conducted by an experienced expert in the field of safety and hygiene, Łukasz Fajta, who is a co-founder of Vulcan Training & Consultancy. Łukasz possesses impressive qualifications and rich experience, making the training not only educational but also inspiring. He is a graduate of the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Management, an IOSH Institution of Occupational Safety and Health graduate, and a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) in the United Kingdom. A former commander of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, experienced instructor, auditor, operational manager for global training providers. Engaged in international projects for the construction and development of training centers. At VTC, he is responsible for managing the training center operationally, team creation, designing, and implementing the training base for international accreditations.

Attained Qualifications:

Participants will acquire knowledge in risk assessment, legal aspects of occupational health and safety (OHS), identification of workplace hazards, safety audits, and many other key issues related to safety and hygiene at work. They will gain the following skills and qualifications:

• Awareness of the importance of safety and occupational health and managerial responsibility.
• Ability to define and assess risk and document it.
• Capability to identify control measures to mitigate risk.
• Understanding of legal systems and OHS management.
• Ability to recognize workplace hazards.
• Knowledge of developing basic performance indicators, safety audits, and measurements.

Course Completion Confirmation: 

Upon successful completion of the IOSH Managing Safely course, participants will receive a certificate confirming the acquired knowledge and skills. They will also undergo a written exam in English to validate their qualifications.

It should be noted that some companies may require special or additional certification to meet internal competence requirements.
