Basic info
To obtain an Inland Navigation Worker Medical Certificate, the following examinations and tests are required. **The cost of these tests is not included in the price of the medical appointment.**
**How to plan your visit**
➡️ **8:00 AM – Blood test and examinations**
Please come to Vulcan Medical at 8:00 AM. The required set of tests can be performed at our medical centre.
➡️ **After 2:00 PM – Doctor's appointment**
Please book your appointment with the doctor after 2:00 PM, so that your test results are available.
**Required set of tests – PLN 135:**
• Complete blood count
• Glucose
• Urinalysis
• Audiometry
**Chest X-ray – PLN 80**
You may also provide a previous chest X-ray, provided that it is **not older than 18 months**.
The chest X-ray can be performed at:

**All of the above examinations and tests are required to obtain the Inland Navigation Worker Medical Certificate.**
Validity periods of the certificate:
- for the position of captain—for a period not exceeding 13 years
- for individuals over 60 years of age—for a period not exceeding 5 years
- for individuals over 70 years of age—for a period not exceeding 2 years
The service is aimed at people working on inland waterway vessels, by means of which cargo or passengers are transported.

Vulcan MedicalOccupational Medicine OfficeOccupational medicine conducted by our Center includes the prevention of occupational diseases for seafarers, wind turbine technicians, and other professions or specializations. The examinations will determine if the delegates have any health contraindications that would prevent them from performing tasks in a specified position.
