For more than 6 years, Vulcan Training & Consultancy has been training professionals from Poland and across Europe, offering accredited training in accordance with the highest safety standards in the Offshore Wind and Oil & Gas industry. It is the largest training complex in Central and Eastern Europe and recently opened Poland's first commercial fire training ground with a helicopter landing pad. With a wide range of fire scenarios, Fire Field allows trainees to train on a helipad with real flames, under maximum realistic conditions.
Technology and realistic training conditions
Fire Field is designed for the most demanding practical exercises. It includes a variety of fire scenarios that provide trainees with the opportunity to train in as close to real emergency situations as possible. A real helicopter landing pad adds a unique dimension to the training, allowing simulated helicopter reception aboard the installation and coordination of emergency operations. This unique venue helps prepare participants for the challenges that can arise when working on offshore installations.
Extensive Training Offer
Fire Field introduces new competence opportunities with OPITO accreditation, guaranteeing the highest level of quality and safety in fire training. The training offer ranges from introductory to advanced courses for heliport personnel and rescue team leaders. Among the most important training courses are:
- HOIT - Helideck Operations Initial Training: Introductory training for offshore helicopter landing site operations, which covers the basics of fire safety and evacuation procedures.This training is required for Offshore Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and Offshore Helicopter Deck Assistant (HDA) positions.
- HERTM - Helideck Emergency Response Team Member: A course for emergency response team members focusing on practical intervention skills.
- HERTL - Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader: Preparing Helideck Emergency Response Team Leaders, emphasizing the development of emergency management and coordination skills.
- HERTL Further and HERTM Further: Advanced training for existing leaders and team members to supplement and build on previously acquired skills and maintain certification.
- OERTM - Offshore Emergency Response Team Member and OERTL - Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader: Training courses aimed at those responsible for responding to offshore Oil & Gas emergencies, emphasizing rescue operations and emergency management.
- OERTM Further and OERTL Further: Continuing education courses for offshore Oil&Gas emergency response team members and leaders, aimed at updating knowledge and skills and keeping certifications valid.
International Standard and Accessibility
Training sessions are conducted in Polish and English to ensure accessibility and understanding for participants from different parts of the world. The first training sessions have already taken place, receiving a positive response from both Polish and international participants.
