Vulcan Training & Consultancy is a leading training centre specializing in preparing professionals to work safely in high-risk environments. As part of the expansion of our training portfolio, we are looking for a Paramedic / GWO & OPITO Instructor to join our training team and deliver first aid, safety and rescue training for the offshore, wind energy and industrial sectors.
Job Description
As a Paramedic / GWO & OPITO Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training sessions, providing medical support during practical exercises, and ensuring the safety of all participants throughout the training. You will deliver GWO courses, including Enhanced First Aid (EFA), as well as OPITO courses, including AMA and ITSO, while supporting participants during practical exercises.
We offer both full-time and part-time employment. The start date is negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver GWO training courses, including Enhanced First Aid (EFA)
- Deliver OPITO training courses, including AMA and ITSO
- Prepare and conduct theoretical and practical training sessions
- Provide medical support during practical exercises
- Prepare training equipment and training areas
- Deliver training in accordance with applicable procedures, standards and course requirements
- Supervise participant safety throughout practical sessions
- Conduct first aid, rescue simulations and emergency response scenarios
- Maintain training equipment in excellent working condition
- Cooperate closely with the instructor team and the operations department
Requirements
- Qualified Paramedic
- Valid professional qualifications and practical experience in emergency medical care and first aid
- Experience in delivering training or practical instruction
- Ability to independently lead training groups
- Strong organizational skills and a responsible approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a practical training environment
- Good command of Polish and communicative English
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering GWO training, particularly Enhanced First Aid (EFA)
- Experience delivering OPITO training, especially AMA and/or ITSO
- Experience in the offshore, wind energy, maritime, rescue or safety sectors
- Additional first aid, rescue or safety-related certifications
- Previous instructor experience
