Vulcan Training & Consultancy is a leading training centre specializing in preparing professionals to work safely in high-risk environments. For more than eight years, we have been supporting the offshore, wind energy, industrial and emergency response sectors by delivering internationally accredited GWO and OPITO training programmes.
We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team on a replacement contract. We are seeking a versatile marketer who will support our day-to-day marketing activities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, social media, online advertising and emerging technologies, who is looking to grow in a dynamic B2B environment.

Job Description
You will join a one-person marketing department, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a real impact on the company's marketing activities. You will help build our brand, manage social media channels, support advertising campaigns and participate in the execution of a wide range of marketing projects.
Some of your responsibilities will involve working closely with our IT team, so an interest in technology and confidence in using digital tools will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
- Create and publish engaging content while contributing to the content calendar
- Design graphics, presentations and simple photo/video materials
- Support the planning, execution and optimisation of Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
- Analyse marketing performance and prepare reports
- Update website content and landing pages
- Support SEO and content marketing activities
- Assist in organising events, conferences and special projects
- Collaborate with the Sales, Operations and IT teams on marketing tools and process development
- Identify new tools, ideas and automation opportunities to improve marketing efficiency
Requirements
- Passion for digital marketing and a willingness to develop in this field
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital communication
- Basic or hands-on knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proactive attitude, independence and accountability
- Good command of English
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar marketing role (not required)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager or Looker Studio
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Experience editing short-form video content
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS or how websites work
- Interest in AI and marketing technology tools
- Experience collaborating with IT teams on websites, digital tools or marketing technology projects
- Interest in the offshore, wind energy or technology sectors
